I’ve been posting lots of people pictures lately.. Life on this little island has fascinated me. There is such a mass of humanity crammed on this tiny piece of earth that it is impossible not to stop and watch. I’ve seen so many interesting scenes, completely foreign to me, unfold before my eyes. On the south eastern side of the island is one of the dumps. There are people that will sort through the huge pile of trash for various slightly used goods and sell them to vendors, who will sell them to the public. Its a pretty disgusting process, but someone has to do it. Here is a man, working hard, probably making peanuts, loading old refrigerator radiators on to a flat bed truck..

It’s kind of the “polar opposite” (get it!?) than your last assignment, population density, warmth etc… somewhere inside your brain is going WTF!
