Well, we had a fantastic two weeks. A few days in the southern Maldives, on an island called Hadahaa, very close to the equator. Also, Sri Lanka. We had an incredible time at both locations. We have taken so many photos I don’t know where to begin, so I’ll start with this one. Becky and I doing a stupid pose on the top of a world heritage site, complete with the Japanese pop culture “V sign“.
This shot was taken on top of Sigiriya, in Sri Lanka. The site is an old dead volcano that eroded and the hardened plug core was all that was left. There are plenty of old building foundations, caves with fresco paintings, and other neat stuff. I won’t get into the details, but if you want to learn more, hit up the Sigiriya Wikipedia article.
