Weathered

The first day we arrived in Sri Lanka we decided to check out a town on the west coast called Negombo.  After checking into our hotel we met up with a friend of a friend and she recommended that we check out the fish market for some excellent photo ops.. We did, and there was.

The stinky fish and byproducts of humanity permeated the sand, festered in the heat, and made the place smell like ****.  But we tried our hardest to ignore the smell because of the amazing scenes taking place in front of us.

This picture is of man that was working at the fish market.  I love his face, lots of character.. looks really weathered.

I love how salt and pepper his beard is…gives this shot a really neat effect. Your pictures really tell a story.

this is a really “whow”-portrait. As soon as you take a look at the man his face your mind starts making up all kind of dramatic stories about his life. Good job and sweet processing !

An impressive portrait. The shot stands out from the photos I have seen today…
