Becky and I recently finished our PADI open water diving course. Being in the Maldives for 6 months we couldn’t NOT do it. We bought an underwater housing for Becky’s old Canon SD 850, and it has handled pretty good under water- we’ve taken it down to 30m and it hasn’t flooded yet!
Today we dove at a spot called Banana reef.. No current, tons of fish, and tons of neat corral formations off the reef. I felt like Ariel from the little mermaid! Ok…. maybe I’m suffering from slight decompression sickness…
This is amazing! I love it! And I especially like the ‘no current’ part!
Beautiful picture. While I live by the ocean, somehow I don’t think waters here off western Sweden would be near as lively or enticing.
You know, I’m not much for warm places or, say, people, but you guys’ diving photos are making a good case for visiting warm places and even having dealing with people.
