Down the road from our apartment is the surf beach where everyone goes to smash into each other while riding waves. During peak hours in the evening it is quite crowded. I might try surfing myself, but have yet to secure a board to learn on.
This just in: I have won an award for Best Photography in the Best NWT Blogs contest. Awesome! The judge pointed out that I am no longer living in the north, which is very true, but I will be back. The company I work for will no doubt send me back when I am done my tour down in the tropics.

Congratulations! It was only a matter of time before you were recognized for your talents. But, I really do think that you need to learn how to surf. Those waves look awesome and constant because surf is up in a lot of your photos.
