Well our adventure here in in the Maldives has come to an end. We had a fantastic time! We’ve met lots of lifelong friends, toured the islands, spent time at fancy resorts, and scuba’d many many reefs.
Leaving is definitely bitter sweet.
Off to Thailand for 3 weeks, then back to the land of the familiar!
This pic is nothing short of spectacular! And bittersweet, I’m certain, is the perfect word.

See the large sandy portion front left on the island? Look to where the buildings start. See the blue building? Across the street (to the right) is a small beige building. THAT is where we lived.
