For the last two days I have been on a charter to a local island in the Maldives called Mandoo, located in the South Ari Atoll. There is a film production company filming a commercial for Fa cosmetic products and they wanted a twin otter for part of ther shooting. More about that later.
To pass the time I ventured around the islanding in the local community. There were people out farming, women making thatch for rooftops, chirldren playing, men fishing, etc. Was quite an amazing experience. This fellow and his mates offered me their rolled tobbaco to smoke. They had the tobacco in a small plastic canister and they used newspaper to roll it.. Needless to say, I didn’t try it!

What an outstanding subject. You just find the right subjects and the right opportunity to shoot. What a colourful shot full of so many different textures. Love it
