10 points to whoever gets the title reference.
I went snorkling today at Kuredu Island Resort. The reefs here are incredible.. The islands here are made of coral.
Managed to check off a list of firsts:
- Manta Ray the size of a king size bed: check
- 4 live lobster the size of a football waiting to be eaten: check
- posioness lion fish: check
- 1,000,000,000 colourful fish: check
- sea turtle: check
- black tipped shark: check
- 15ish dolphins swimming with Dohni: check
- wishing my wife Becky was here to see it with me: check (8 more days babe)
Overall a pretty good day. Beats the -20 degree weather that Inuvik, NWT is getting!
I’ve been to Mexico and Cuba.. which were pretty great.. but the Maldives are just magical.

Isn’t it what the dolphins say in Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy?
Sounds like you’re having a great time on holiday!
Magical is a good word! Glad you are enjoying yourself and all these fabulous experiences!
Too easy… It’s from Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Specifically, when the dolphins abandon Earth.
I talked to your wife, she says to tell you she’s busy with work and she’s giving me her plane ticket. See you in eight days! LOL
Lies!!
The answer is 42.
My first thought was Uncle Terry
But I have to agree with Lauara and Mongoose.
My vote for most counfusing response goes to neph Geoff. I thought it was closer to 35.
I am so jealous. Sheila Segato will be even more so as she lives for snorkling.
In Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything is “42″. Unfortunately, no one knows what the Ultimate Question is….
OK, so I’m technologically s-l-o-w, but I finally figured out how to navigate your site, Lee. Am so completely in awe of your photos. Think it’s blissfull juju that you and Becky have this incredible creativity in common. Right now I’m living vicariously through the two of you!
Funny, regarding the last statement of Dilly’s reply: that’s my line, believe me!
“Great Big Yellow Somethings hung in the sky much in the same way that bricks don’t.”
