Sleepy Mountain, located in the Yukon about 30 miles south of the Arctic coastline- see map. Locals named it sleepy mountain because they used it to navigate while on dogsled, by the time they saw the mountain they were feeling sleepy and it was time to set up camp for the night.

I am a big fan of the color in this shot - it’s got everything…brown, red, blue, green, gold, white…so pleasing to the eye.
