March 1st 2008, It Began

Becky, Yousef, and I managed to escape Inuvik before the alien invasion began.  As you can see this is a clear attack on northern civilization.  I took this quick snapshot leaving town to show their unusual tactics to my fellow southerners..  It appears they beam their forms down to earth through some sort of shifting, dancing light, which almost seems life like.  Locals say this is a “natural” and “regular” occurrence called the “Aurora Boreals”… but I believe the aliens have already assimilated them into their horde.  Wish us luck.

It seems so unreal - looks like a postcard - touched up with colour! How beautiful that you caught this pic with your camera! Somewhat breath-taking actually! I can only hope that your conversation was in whispers so that ‘they’ might not here of your whereabouts while taking this shot….

What a magnificent picture. This is surely something you would never see in Southern Ontario.

that’s intense. i’ve never been north enough to see the aurora boreals. the closest i’ve gotten was maybe two hours north of KW and even then i’m not sure if it was city lights in the distance or not.

It took my breath away Lee. It is an absolutely awesome shot. This one needs to be in a magazine somewhere. Will you work on that?

PS: I just noticed the American Flag shows up beside my name. Just in case - I’m your real dad who lives in Canada. The one with the snowball maker. Works great.

I’m going to have to put up a link to your site. Since the aliens have the good taste to go for Canada first, you’ll be an early warning sign for the rest of us.
