The other day I ended up on a whirlwind tour of the Arctic that went from Inuvik to Tuktoyaktuk to Cape Perry to Kugluktuk to Cambridge Bay then back to Inuvik. 10 hours of flight time.. Crappy weather too.
In Cambridge bay we ended up having dinner at the Defence Early Warning site. I’ve been to a few of them now, and I’m still amazed by the history behind the sites. Not to mention the decor- it looks like nothing has changed for 50 years. Anyways, here is a picture of me in one of the mirrors at the site, and the on the other side, the hall to the kitchen. Note the furnature, the rock wall, and the ever popular fake wood paneling.

Man I wish I could see half the stuff you see up there. So interesting
Are you sure this isn’t a pic taken at Eagle Plains? hahahaha. Can’t be, cause there isn’t any orange shag carpet!
You look like you’re in a photo on the wall…a creepy photo on the wall.
