In my humble opinion, this is the street with the best view in Inuvik. It overlooks boot lake and the delta. There are some pretty nice houses and apartments on this street which I’m sure cost a pretty penny. We were trying to get into the green and white building on the left hand side of the picture, but we couldn’t get an apartment. Ah well. On of our friends lives on the street.. Lucky!
Becky and I are in Ontario for a week, then off to Mexico, and back to Ontario for a week.. So the site won’t be updated that much, but what’s new? I need to stop slacking!
Thanks for posting this great shot. I lived in the “dome house” on Boot lake Road in the mid-1980s. Is it still there?
Yeah, the dome house is still there. One of my fellow co-workers was
renting it for a while, but the heating bills were outrageous as I’m
sure you knew. He moved out and lives on the other side of town in a
trailer now.
