Here is an aerial shot of the town of Inuvik, NT. From left to right we have the industrial zone, then residential, then the downtown shopping area, more residential and on the far right is the hospital where Becky starts work tomorrow. Quite a nice little northern arctic town! I must say, its growing on me.. but I’m sure I will re-evaluate that when the winter hits.

I think you’ll find winter very beautiful, despite the cold.
Dog sled races, northern lights, ice roads, people in traditional parkas, etc…
all sorts of interesting stuff to see
Phil you forgot the cold…the darkness…and did I mention the cold??
I really like this pic but find it hard to believe the time of day! Crazy? Are you adjusting yet? This would be a good pic to show exactly where your apt is, the airport and the hospital…you know, like they do on news channels to highlight certain areas with little arrows! How far is it from one end of town to the next?
Is that snow that’s still on the ground?! I wouldn’t like that much, but the surrounding landscape looks awesome.
