The other day I asked one of the river guides which river that we fly to is his favorite. He immediately said ‘The Firth!’. I can see why. Sheep Creek, the destination that Becky and I tagged along to last weekend is right on The Firth River, so we got to see it first hand. Beautiful blue water, high cliffs, and huge mountains are some of the main features of this river. During the early season you might even catch thousands of Caribou migrating across the river.

It was like that last night. Serene. Except for the 18 grizzly bears we saw on the flight home.
I am totally enjoying these photos. I am so glad that you guys are getting around to see the lay of the land so often. What a wonderful place this Firth River is. The water looks so clean. I bet you could drink out of it. This looks like a place one would like to return to. Becky you must be feeling right at home on these planes now. When are you taking your pilot’s licence?
