Yesterday was National Aboriginal Day, and they did it up pretty big here in Inuvik. There was traditional drum dancing, muktuk (whale blubber), hamburgers, and plenty of tunes. All of which Becky and I missed, except for the tunes, because we were working. I managed to get there when the festivities were winding down. The photo above is a group of people dancing to a band called “The Good Times Band”… They lived up to their name.
