So far I have deduced that living in a northern town is quite the same as living in the south. Same food brands, banks, transportation, etc. All that aside, there are quite a few very big differences. Take for instance the box of discarded antlers I came across the other day. You don’t see that too often when walking around southern Ontario! A lot of the population up here hunts and fishes for food because the cost/reward ratio is so high. I think the one pictured above is a reindeer (caribou) skull/antlers.
I was half tempted to grab a pair of antlers and hang it above my couch but they were old and ugly looking.. Plus I don’t think Becky would appreciate them over our couch.. Maybe a fresh pair? We shall see!
