Becky and I got a chance to tag along on a tour of Babbage River near the top of the Yukon. The land up there seems vast and endless.. This picture doesn’t do it justice. The tundra is littered with tons of pretty flowers, brush, and moss. The land is full of snaking rivers, and unglaciated rolling mountains. We managed to see some wildlife.. including a Caribou- and many Caribou migration tracks.
Plenty more pictures from our western arctic adventures coming soon.

Stunning shot.
Just gorgeous! Like an upscale poster you’d buy in an art shop - this would make a beautiful print in my family room…hmmm…now there’s an idea! Glad you got to experience this expedition!
This and a set of those antlers that Becky could paint for you would do nicely in your family room Anna. Wow, what an amazing shot Lee.
Nice scenery - great shot! I like the clouds.
This is just before it started raining…about 10pm…and apparently a few hours before it started snowing there. We flew out just in time to avoid camping out there for the night! What an absolutely incredible landscape - we got some really neat shots…we said on the plane how we’d love for our families to see this - when are you guys all coming up ??? :0)
Also I should say, this is Ivvuvik National Park in the Northern Yukon near the Mackenzie Delta and Babbage River for those of you who are interested.
Beautiful shot!
Nice looking spot, but… dunno, maybe if there was like, a rainbow in front or something…
Theres a high probability of rainbowage tomorrow on Dusty Sensor…
Stunning shot, I love the landscape up there.
beautiful stuff, Lee!. You are supplying 100% of my Windows desktops these days
I just want to tell you that your blog is very interesting, bookmarked
