Heres a shot downstream of the falls. At first I was quite disapointed that we had crappy weather, but when I got home and noticed the dramatic effect the clouds had in the photos.
Yesterday was a beautiful day in Inuvik, but it turned to crap today- rainy with a high of 14. Yuck. I wanted to go out and take pictures, but I think I’ll wait till a nice day. Tomorrow is suppose to be crappy too. Maybe tomorrow night will be nice? It doesn’t matter what time of day it is around here in the summer.. Its always bright and currently the best time for photography seems to be around 10pm-3am. Which is equivalent to Ontario’s 5pm-7pm golden sunshine summer hours-except 3 times as long!

I think this shot really depicts well how cold it was that day - wind was blowing and we were shivering…well I was anyway. Lee is made of heaters. Lucky for me - this is right before the substantial climb uphill back to the plane…there were no cold complaints after that work out.
It looks like Paradise to me!!!!!
