These past few weeks have been extremely busy for me. I got a call a few weeks back saying that I will be attending ground school for the Twin Otter in a few days. The company shipped me down to Calgary to and we went over the aircraft in detail and then did my training and flight test.
After all was said and done, the chief pilot gave me his business card and it had the slogan “Anytime! Anywhere! World-Wide!” on it. Its true, our company has aircraft all over the world.. Antarctic, the Arctic, Maldives, Burma, to name a few. With our fleet of Twin Otters we can do pretty much anything. Which brings me to my picture.
After my training was done they shipped me directly up to Iqaluit, Nunavut to fill in for someone. The second trip of my first day was to Taluak Fijord where we landed on a beach at low tide. What an amazing place!
